Perfect fit works best with pumps

I bought this part from Revain because it was a lot cheaper than elsewhere. Perfect fit, removed and installed in less than an hour. Also bought a steering column pin that held the steering column in place during removal and installation. Much better than trying to tape off the steering wheel and pillar. I would highly recommend these products to anyone having trouble with the rudder position sensor code.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Clean

worked in my yukon 2013

got rid of traction control and dashboard stabilizer with medium error messages. My airbag light also went out even though I pushed all the SRS connectors in as well. Not too difficult to install. Uploading the video to YouTube helped a lot. I did it alone in about an hour but I took my time. a second pair of hands would help a little. BE SURE TO ATTACH THE STEERING WHEEL TO THE COLUMN. If the wheel spins when it's not plugged in, you're messing up all your controls.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • there are nuances

Fits perfectly and appears to be great quality.

I watched a youtube video on how to install it and it was pretty easy to do. I followed the video instructions. It took about 1.5 hours to make. It fits as expected and seems to be working as it should. I did this because I was having ABS and Stabilitrak failures on my 2007 GMC Sierra Denali. That didn't solve the problem, but the part is OK. A note I learned from the video, be sure to glue the steering wheel in place. The item fits perfectly and works as it should.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Can't remember

The best solution to the problem is the power steering

I run a fleet of GM trucks and have had a 'Traction Control Stabilitrack' problem on a few. The factory bulletin said that this sensor should not be changed, only the connector should be repaired. Well I tried the "repair" they suggested on four different cars and they all came back to it soon after. I bought these at a much better price than even my discount store. So far no one has had the problem again. This is a lot more "fun" than just fixing the plug, but it actually solves the problem.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Very expensive

Original GM parts in original packaging.

Of some concern, the two flat parts of the sensor that align with the steering shaft are offset 90 degrees from the fixed connector bracket. I had to disengage the "spring" pin before fully seating the sensor in its mount to allow for rotation. that should not happen. However, after seven full driving cycles, including very twisty, accented and decent roads, as well as rain, aquaplaning and high-speed driving, the sensor no longer generates a potential trouble code. My traction control now…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Don't waste money. Buy OEM

I bought this sensor for convenience as I don't have to wait for my local dealer to deliver the part. They told me they would deliver the part to me in a week and a half. Revain received it 3 days at my door. So I went comfortably. I'm so stupid. The job takes about an hour if you have experience in dismantling the steering shaft. It ended up taking me two hours due to my size. I don't fit well in tiny spaces being 6ft and 3,250lbs. In any case, I got over any issues with replacing the sensor…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Nothing here
