Wrong sensor. - Parts

According to Revane this was for my 2002 Buick Century but this is nowhere near the right option. I returned it, full credit was received for it. Moral of the story: Check the parts and numbers on the GM website to verify the correct part numbers.

Can't beat the factory OEM

bought this to replace my crank position sensor on my 3.4L 04 Impala, this machine has TWO OF THESE SENSORS (UPPER and LOWER sensor, I believe this UPPER one) YOU ALSO NEED TO BUY AND REPLACE A BOTTOM SENSOR IF YOU BUY THIS. You will also need the location of the crankcase. PERFORM THE RELEARN PROCESS AFTER INSTALLATION OR YOUR VEHICLE WILL NOT START PROPERLY. After that both sensors did their job, the factory sensor lasted over 12 years hoping this one would do the same.

I usually use ACDelco

Then put on a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT with LA1 3400 engine I rebuilt the engine and it starts amazing but that's not because I replaced 1 small sensor: p. Anyway, it's 1 of 2 crank position sensors in case anyone is interested. This is the sensor located on the firewall side of the unit (around cylinder 3 - centre). It is directly responsible for measuring the crankshaft and starting the car. A (I think) 10mm screw holds it. And for those who replace it in the car (depending on the model), you

Great item at a great price!

I ordered this crankshaft position sensor for a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix SE even though Amazon said this part would not fit my car. I suggest always going to the manufacturers website to see what will fit your car and then ordering it through Amazon because you can't beat the price. I love Amazon but their bundling is seriously flawed. The sensor is a bit difficult to reach. I removed the passenger wheel first and then removed the metal plate with 5 screws and then you can clearly see the…

Intermittent Problem With GM3400 3.4L

2000 Pontiac Grand Am. This fixed my intermittent problem. I would start and drive well. Maybe you go shopping on a hot day. When leaving the store, it may not start when you are ready to go home. It will roll over/start but never start the car. RPM may not be displayed at this point when attempting to start. Wait a while for the temperature to cool down and it will start normally and run normally without any problem. The easiest way for me to replace this sensor on my car was: jack up car…
