Works good good for sensors

Actually had a nice 1-1.5mpg improvement when I replaced the O2 sensors on my 2001 Silverado 1500 5.3L. Please note that this part, ACDelco 213-819, is a 4 position sensor: left and right and before and after the catalyst. Also, this part is for Canadian-made trucks only (not necessarily Canadian-sold ones). If your truck VIN starts with 2, you need this part. If your truck's VIN starts with 1, you need a different sensor. Check the connector and get the sensor with the same connector as your…

Just what I needed

There was a bit of confusion with these O2 sensors but it turned out to be exactly what I needed. I installed this on a 2002 Chevy Suburban 1500 5.3L FlexFuel that was built in the USA. The part numbers on the box were: AC Delco #213-819 GM #1256 2943. It replaces the previously installed DENSO sensor. Part number 234000-5170 (and GM part number 1256 2943 is printed on the side of the DENSO sensor). This sensor is suitable. There was a correct wire connector and my "Check Engine" light went…

Be sure to check the connections.

I would suggest calling the dealer with your Vin to check which of the three O2 sensors will fit or look at the connectors you have. The ACDelco website gave me the wrong information but the seller allowed the return with no problem and I reordered the correct ones from them. Bank 1, the driver's front, is very difficult to swap out on a 4WD car because the drive shaft is in a location where the other three can be easily swapped out. The truck runs much better, responds better, pedals less and…

COOL COOL! - Sensors

Revain is amazing! My Silverado is built in Canada; So I had to do a lot of research to ensure absolute success! I ordered four sensors so the other three wouldn't turn off at different times) the previous day late in the evening. Revain until 9pm but SHAZAM they arrived early the next day (around 11:30am)! The four AC/Delco O2 sensors were exactly as described for my Silverado; And they were smeared too! I read some comments about the sensors being very tight and might need a special tool to…

Determine if your vehicle is flex fuel or not

You worked great for me. One of my sensors on my Suburban 5.3 Flex Fuel is broken. I've been there in the past and have done it with individual things that should be done in groups (like speakers and now O2 sensors). So I swapped all four. After 12 years and 149,000 miles, they didn't give up easily. Cut the wiring harness so you can use the closed end of the box wrench (yes, that's your point of no return, but you must). Soaking in rust remover didn't help. I had to heat the tube plugs with a…
