Good price for OE, good for spares

Installed this on my GMC Envoy when I was doing the thermostat just in case that was bad too. At 4.2 litres, that's real torture. Get an 18mm gauge head or wrench adapter or you won't be able to turn it. Works as expected, no error codes.

Pros
  • Specialty
Cons
  • Sad hardware

This is a Delco air conditioner

Works as it should is good. I only install AC delco OEM parts in it so I don't have to redo it. This is one of the parts you want to use with the thermostat (both should be replaced at the same time). This is the work of PITA. let me tell you

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Communication with seller

No problem on my 2003 GMC

Didn't fix my temp sensor, GM seems to have some known problems with stepper motors that are behind the sensors, my oil level sensor didn't work either, I replaced the sensor like and few months ago so i spent time and money on 2 sensors. I had to pull out the instrument cluster and replace 2 stepper motors, now they work great! Be aware that replacing a stepper motor is not easy, it will help if you have experience soldering circuit boards.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • No automatic

Fixed code P0128 in 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer

I'm not sure how I'm going to rate an OEM part less than five stars when the part is just plain poorly designed. It worked and the codes disappeared. It was a rush to install as the alternator screw was virtually inaccessible with the AC hose getting in the way. Fearing that the hose might break or leak, I bent the metal part of the AC hose a bit to get better access to the screw. This was on a 2005 six-cylinder Chevrolet Trailblazer.

Fits perfectly but...

After my outrider had trouble starting, I found that the computer was getting the wrong engine temperature information. The first sensor was delivered damaged and sent back. A replacement was sent immediately and was in good condition. The sensor isn't that easy to install, although that's the fault of the GM designers. The alternator and battery must be removed to gain access to the sensor, which must be removed. The actual replacement of the sensor is very simple, but requires a special tool…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • No paint required

Working well after 2 months of use

I recently replaced the catalytic converter on a 2003 GMC Envoy with a 3rd row seat (see my Walker review 55477 Ultra Domestic Converter - Non-CARB Compliant product page) . On one of the owner forums I visited, another poster said that low engine water temperature due to a bad thermostat can reduce fuel economy and ruin your cat over time. Converter. So, in addition to the thermostat (also bought here from Revain), I also replaced the temperature control unit. As many DIYers and professional…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not as good as advertised
