🔧 ACDelco GM Original Equipment 214-1473: Enhanced Vapor Canister Purge Valve for Efficient Performance Review

80,000 miles and I've changed this and that and that part and the intake map sensor I changed today and I think I might start getting a better MPG. I think the new signals are on track and things are getting better.

Looks like a quality AC Delco part. Easy to install and after 50 miles my code didn't come back. My OBDII code reader suggested this part for repair. Great price and fast delivery (apart from being delivered to the wrong house, a neighbor brought it). Revane is good, and the guy in the white van isn't very good.

This part was very easy to replace and has worked flawlessly for the 3 months or so that I have worn to date. The price is very reasonable and it was worth spending a few bucks more to get a quality part for a cheaper part that probably would have failed long ago. Will update this with another review if the part fails, but I don't expect that to happen.

Firstly I have a 2008 Chevy HHR SS and Amazon said this part does not fit my car and when I looked it up at Rock Auto they told me it did not car fits . . But all the other cars that were said to fit Rock Auto were the same as what Rock Auto said would fit my car, so I went along with them even though they said it didn't. I had Evaporator Leak DTCs PO442 and PO455 which came up at my '08 Grand Prix along with random 'Check Fuel Cap' messages. I replaced the gas cap but the message and error codes are still there. I ordered and received this purge valve from Revain and it only took two or three minutes to change it. After installation I cleared the error codes. Absolutely great value! My check engine light has been on for a few months, but all my touch lights come on from time to time. According to my mechanic, this is due to the corrosive nature of coastal life. Anyway, I noticed problems with idling and after filling up had to press the gas pedal to start the van.
