Perfect fit for 1996 IMPALA SS

Worked perfectly as advertised on my 96 Impala SS. F-Body is recommended instead of the standard EGR B-Body. Thank you JESSE ONE

Highly recommended!

I prefer to use OEM replacement parts for emission critical parts, this works great on my 1995 6 speed Camaro LT1, go with it, will not regret!

Pros
  • Modulates exhaust flow to intake manifold to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions
Cons
  • Parts availability

Good OEM Part for Aftermarket

Good OEM Part Want to say more? Works great on my 1996 Impala SS, claims to be a little more reliable than stock. I would choose this if you have an automatic or a 5 speed LT1. I'm still on the original valve in my '97 6Speed Trans Am with about 150,000 miles on it.

Pros
  • Offers GM quality, reliability and durability OE
Cons
  • Contact Seller

Best EGR valve for LT1 applications

I bought an ACDelco 214-5084 from the dealer when I was having EGR problems on my 1996 Impala SS after about 50,000 miles would have. The new valve only started to cause the same surge problems as the original after 10,000 miles. I replaced that valve with this ACDelco 214-5083. After 90,000 km it is still fine. This EGR valve was developed for the Camaro manual transmission with LT1 engine. The manual transmission Camaro is much more sensitive to EGR issues than the automatic transmission…
