Correct Filter for 2005 C6 4L65E

This is the filter you need if you have a 2005 C6 with a four speed automatic transmission. FYI, you do not need to change the press fit that the filter snaps into unless it is damaged or loose.

Good for Corvette but be careful with the gasket

Works great in Corvette C5 with A4 but DO NOT replace the filter throat gasket if yours is ok. The kit includes a new bushing/gasket but is very difficult to remove. The rest of the product worked great.

The first picture is the product for sale. The second is the original. Same fit and function. Don't forget to replace the filter gasket (included) as well. In the third photo, the tool I made out of a screwdriver. Heat and bend the tip, then round and buff the edges to avoid scratching the gear when you remove the old gasket.
