High-Quality GM 24422594 PCV Hose - Genuine Replacement for Optimal Crankcase Ventilation Review

The original PCV hose on our Saturn Vue 07 was completely cracked and rotted. Nobody makes it to the secondary market, so this was the only way out. The fit is perfect without question. I hope this one lasts longer than the original but since they are from the same manufacturer I don't expect any difference.

Although this is just a molded PCV hose, it is a very important detail. I tried a length of off-the-shelf fuel line tubing (cut to size) and my car (Saturn Vue) squirted and ignited a bit at times. After I installed this OEM hose these problems went away. Either way, this is a good piece at a very good price.

At first glance nothing more than a molded rubber hose. I could have saved a few bucks by buying the right length and shaping it myself, but one end of the old hose slipped out; the other end was tight so I just cut a slit and it came right out. The new hose slipped in easily and I was done in less than 5 minutes.

The hose that goes from the intake manifold fitting to the valve cover is dry rotted. This hose was the perfect replacement for the old one, it didn't even need to be cut to length. Sometimes you get "one hose fits all models" and then has to be cut to size. It's different here, even though it has a nice big GM logo on it. If you need to replace this hose on your Saturn Vue or Chevy Equinox, get this one.
