Description of πŸ”Œ ACDelco 41-100 Iridium Spark Plug | GM Original Equipment

Iridium offers excellent engine idle stability and smooth performance. Iridium allows for small, efficient electrode designs for reliable cold starting and quick acceleration. Iridium fine-wire electrode helps burn away carbon deposits on the tip of the plug as they form. One piece suppressor seal helps block radio frequencies that can affect vehicle electronics. Suppressor seal meters spark energy for long electrode life and helps prevent combustion leakage.

Disappointing performance of this Spark Plug

After I put it to the test, I found that this Spark Plug did not live up to my expectations. It failed to ignite the fuel efficiently, which resulted in poor automotive performance. The only good thing I can say is that it is easy to install. Overall, I would not recommend this product as it did not meet my needs.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Poor ignition performance

Good solid high mileage spark plugs

Finally replaced my Delco AC plugs after over 100,000 miles on my GMC Sierra 2500. Amazing I got them for that long there seems to have been some improvement in overall engine performance, not much help with gas mileage, maybe 1 mile or less. I have addons for my engine. For the money they work great and I never see a change. Stamps in this truck.

Pros
  • Muffler Gasket measures spark energy to extend electrode life and helps prevent combustion leaks
Cons
  • Some minor things

Good spark plug OEM

Spark plug already set at the factory. This is the factory spark plug that the car recommends for a 2007 Chevy Impala 3.5 engine. The plug works great. Installing those on the back of this engine is a nightmare. Connectors are difficult to remove and there is no room for a firewall. At least they last 100,000 miles or more there. Happy with it and the engine runs well.

Pros
  • Iridium enables small, efficient electrode designs for reliable cold starts and fast acceleration
Cons
