Looks good, check the locking bolt.

Nice ball joint. I chose not to use a new stop bolt as the shoulder on this bolt was not long enough. The old screw worked perfectly.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • All right

Best quality AC Delco ball joints

I only install AC Delco Professional or OEM parts on my 2008 TBSS. These upper ball joints are no exception. I expect high quality from AC Delco. Fits and finishes like OEM parts. Here's another 100,000 miles on these new ball joints.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Great product, great upgrade from the original

The great product even comes with a non-original grease fitting. It hurts, but with the right tools it can be done by one person, it just takes patience and a few views from someone doing it on YouTube.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • There are downsides

Screw broken when tightened

Again, Delco proves they can't make quality parts. When tightening the upper ball joint screw, the screw broke. There is no reason why this should happen. Very disappointed with this product. I believe in buying an American, but not if it's a piece of shit!

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Replacement available

It works. best replacement parts

Not a bad product but not for heavy use. This is a complete product (oiler, boot, lock nut). It was very tight for my messenger but it worked. If you are a shady tree, try to find a press to put in if you can. I pasted it in using a C clip and a piece of wood. It took a little effort, but it's possible.

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Crumpled

Good ball joint: Replacement parts

I bought this ball joint for my 2002 Chevy Trailblazer and it fit but was quite tight. If I were to buy another I would recommend getting the ones from Autozone which have a lifetime warranty because these things are not good sturdy originals and they fail every 2 years. If you buy the upper part, you also have to replace the lower part at the same time. Don't skimp or you'll end up paying more in the long run

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Still going strong.

Attention: Ball joints are pressed in. Unless you have a good pressing kit, be prepared to work all day. My press-in kit is cheap and consists of modified steel tubing, large flares and a heavy duty C-clip with welded ends. for centering self-made adapters. I had to heat, thresh and scold the original ball joints of my car. The ball joint expands like a rivet, pull out the rivet first and things will be smoother.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
