'01 Silverado everything is fine

Installing the kit on my 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4x4. Much easier than pressing out ball joints and bushings, and only costs a few dollars more. The bushings were a bit wider than the truck mounts, but I just used a pry bar to pre-stretch the bushing on one side and insert the other side. They are probably designed for slight preload in the bushings. .

Much easier than pressing out the top ball joints

I've read some posts online about the difficulty of pressing out the top ball joints. I decided to pop out the bottom ones but replace the top arm to save myself the hassle. There are no complaints about this device as it works normally and is easy to maintain. After 160,000 miles on a Yukon XL Denali, this article is for you. One of the ball joints was cracked and would fail if I didn't keep lubricating it.

  • Great for me

Exactly what I needed: shocks, struts and suspension

Would have given five stars if the bushings didn't need to be pressed in. Maybe it was just my application (Chevy Express 1500 2009), but the bushings were set wider than my originals. I had to push them further in, which took a lot of effort but then worked fine. No more squeaking, creaking, rattling and groaning. Before loosening anything, mark the screw and washer locations very carefully and you should be able to keep the original alignment if it was good to begin with.

Possible lawsuit? suitable for shock absorbers, struts and suspensions

Non-genuine ACDELCO product. The product is made in China and the rubber boot holding grease in the ball joint popped out two weeks after installation. They weren't overstocked and everything was installed correctly: Revain sells counterfeit parts or doesn't match the products they carry. For example, I ordered products from moog and ac delco, but both parts were stamped SH. They didn't have a Moog stamp, nor an Acdelco stamp, nor a part number that matched the Moog or Acdelco part numbers…

Part of AC Delco

Installed on a 2006 Suburban 2wd. Precision fit (requires a small screwdriver to guide the bushings). Came in a plastic bag with no ac delco label. I called AC engineering. The part number on the bag AXB2605308 is the part that will be included in the delco ac box with part number 45D1103 on the label. Interested in a warranty replacement if necessary, but the part looks identical to the original. Only the letter J is cast in metal, there are no other identification numbers. You will need zip…

Didn't fit, but installed.

Well I did a lot of research before buying. Was between moog rk or premium ck or those. I ended up going with this hearing better things about the ac delco pro. Well, in my research, I've heard that people have installation problems because the bushings aren't fully pressed in and don't fit properly in the brackets. Well, that will definitely happen with these. I disassembled my Tahoe without another car to take me to the ball joint press parts store for bushings. This lever didn't match the…

99.9% OEM same as 04 silverado z71 double cab. Blue ball joint shoe.

Looking closely at the upper arms I found that they were almost identical to the OEM upper arms. They were installed in a 2004 Chevy Silverado z71 5.3L Double Cab. Over the years the rubber bushings on the OEM levers have compressed when they broke and the bolts have been tightened to take up play. So when installing the new one, I used a crescent wrench to slightly bend the rear flange of the truck mount. This gave me the extra 1/4" that I needed to install the new ones. The control arms I…
