🔧 ACDelco Professional Front Passenger Side Lower Suspension Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly - Black, 45D3359 Review

It was easy installation and it's nice that the ball joint is already pressed in. However as this is an AC Delco I think it will be of better quality. I've had them on my 2008 Impala for 5.5 years and they look 20 years old. Large thick layers are peeling off and the ball bearings are already loose. Maybe it's a PAR for the course but I would buy cheaper ones if I knew they would last that long.

This is Ac Delco Gold (Pro) a step below the GM original and a benefit above (Silver). Never take advantage, but Pro is very good, this isn't a GM original OE brand, but it's a solid line. Came with a mirror. Welds around the perimeter are consistent and strong. No gaps, just a continuous weld bead. It is very easy to install. You should get the alignment as soon as possible after that as it will affect the alignment quite a bit. A new cotter pin and castle nut also came. I will not install any

Despite the product description and the banner saying "will fit your car", it didn't fit my car. After removing the old lever, I didn't compare the new one to the old one (sorry I didn't take a picture) and tried to fit it to the car. I bought this part with confidence (ie walked around all the stores and found this is exactly the part I wanted from Mevotech or MOOG) looking for ACDELCO brand, sealed (non-zerk) with more easily replaceable ball joints (nut and bolt as shown). ACDELCO's professional line meets these requirements and the image in this ad appears to be accurate.
