    Perfect fit for 1995 Buick Roadmaster Sedan

    So, first things first. Revane is wrong when he says this doesn't fit the 1995 Buick Roadmaster. This part fits my 1995 Limited Roadmaster sedan that came with a factory installed steering damper. Some models did not have this option. If in doubt, look under your car! However, it was easy to replace and it was just the right fit. The hardest part was getting the old worn part out!     Not quite the right part for 94-96 Buick Roadmasters.

    Correct GM Part Number: 4993536 for 1994-1996 Buick Roadmaster Wagon with variable power steering (which had a steering damper factory installed). As far as I know, this part is no longer available. GM currently has a new part number replacing the old one. The new one is GM # 88946549 and this is this Delco 509-608 AC part. Unfortunately, this GM part swap isn't close enough to be a direct replacement. It turns out that this new piece is about 2 inches longer than the old one. I tested the new…
