Works like new, easy to install

Bought two ACDelco 510-850 professional liftgate lifters for my 2002 Tahoe LT. The ones in the truck were stable and clearly worn out. It was difficult for him to hold the tailgate. I searched the internet and found a video showing how to remove and install these racks, so I had no surprises. These new ones were easy to install and now the rear tailgate opens easily, lifts and opens completely by itself and works like new. They're not the cheapest out there, but you get what you pay for.

Bought 2 pcs. The 510-850 lift holds because our 2002 Suburban's tailgate didn't stay fully upright when opened. Bought an AC Delco thinking the quality would be top notch. After the installation of two new jacks, the tail lift sagged even more than with the previously worn jacks. Lubricate the hatch hinges to ensure they don't stick. Went to my professional mechanic and asked him to take a quick look. He confirmed that the installation was a success, saying it was most likely "outdated" new…

Easy to assemble despite poor documentation

I ordered these tailgate support legs for my 2003 Chevy Suburban 1500. On site. There were a few cheaper alternatives (just a few bucks) that had good reviews, but I figured I'd go with a well-known brand. I'm glad I did. The instructions that accompany the shelves are very poor. They are confusing because they provide instructions for replacing struts with multiple connection types, even if those particular struts have the same connection type. Eventually I got to the point where I dropped the
