Review on ACDelco 510 850 Professional Compartment Support by Besim Kahsar

Bought 2 pcs. The 510-850 lift holds because our 2002 Suburban's tailgate didn't stay fully upright when opened. Bought an AC Delco thinking the quality would be top notch. After the installation of two new jacks, the tail lift sagged even more than with the previously worn jacks. Lubricate the hatch hinges to ensure they don't stick. Went to my professional mechanic and asked him to take a quick look. He confirmed that the installation was a success, saying it was most likely "outdated" new parts that "have sat on the shelf too long". Otherwise he could not explain their lack of power. I am seeking a refund.
