Description of ⚙️ ACDelco Professional Premium Gas Charged Front Shock Absorber (Model 530-190)

a hardened, chromed piston rod with micro cracks provides an ultra-smooth, self-lubricating, corrosion- and scratch-resistant surface, helping increase seal life. drawn over mandrel (dom) pressure cylinder for high quality sealing properties and reduced internal friction to assist with longer product life. gas charged for reduced fluid aeration, which can result in better response, less foaming, and more consistent control than non-gas charged shocks. full perimeter, multi-lip, piston rod seal is permanently lubricated and helps keep dirt and contaminates from reaching the interior of the rod. o-ring hydraulic piston seal resulting in minimized piston blow-by and consistent control. Fit type: Vehicle Specific.

Excellent product, best in category Shocks, Struts & Suspension

I prefer to buy OEM when I can. The dampers were easy to install in the rear, but rather difficult in the front as the lower stabilizer bolts broke because the truck was old and corroded. In addition, they work great and improved the ride like new.

Perfect replacement for bearings.

Replaced the front shocks on my 2WD Chevy Tahoe LT 99. The old shocks were dead which is great. Nothing unusual, nothing special about them, they are factory replacements. I may experiment with some of the better ones later, but they are perfect for replacing stock.

Pros
  • Shocks
Cons
  • Long Delivery

Low Mileage Chevy Truck 2000 3500 PU. The shock failed completely and of course caused additional damage to the control arm bushings etc during overland driving of less than 12.5k highway miles in approximately 3 calendar years per part. Revain will provide Delco Cust with a service number and Delco says Revain is responsible for Revain, according to Revain, AC. Lifetime Guarantee. Oh yeah. By whom?

Inexpensive.: Shock absorbers, struts and suspension

The price was great. The dampers appear to be OEM quality for my old truck. A small note may be in the instructions. If you often work with electric shocks, this may not affect you. But it seemed to me that the instructions for my application were somewhat lacking (concerning the location of the washers and bushings). When I pulled out the old shocks, maybe I should have been more careful/attentive. The old ones are very worn out. But otherwise it was a great purchase.

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • Slightly cracked
