Description of 🔌 ACDelco Professional Spark Plug Wire Set - Model 9746BB

Wire conductor, wire length, and diameter help provide maximum spark delivery and protection. Spark plug distributor boot shape and materials provide proper fit, installation, and water-tight seal. Terminal design improves spark plug retention and assists installation with excellent corrosion resistance. Insulator employs high dielectric materials. Coil retainer prevents fretting and micro-arcing.

very good wires. Fits Wire

As good as standard IMO wires. Some of the wires weren't exactly the same length, but that didn't affect the installation. the car drives great too :) 02 monte carlo ss 3.8l

OK, but not OEM: Replacement parts

I didn't realize at the time that AC Delco Professional didn't meet the same standards as AC Delco OEM. These cables fit my 2003 Buick Regal 3800 engine but do not fit exactly like the original cables. The lengths did not match exactly from wire to wire. The quality seems ok but if I were to do it again I would choose AC Delco OEM.

I really like Delco products for my GM vehicles

For the first time in 30 years of driving GM vehicles I have had a small problem with a Delco product. The 2 ends of the cable going into the spark plugs were too long. The cork doesn't go deep enough and doesn't "click" properly. I had to use a razor and cut off about 1/8 -1/4 inch for them to snap into place. Otherwise they were the right length and fit exactly like the originals which were still on the car with 133,000 miles on them.

Too long and too short

Although the product should match the year, make, car model and engine (00 Impala 3.4L), it does not do the job well. There are six wires in the kit: three long and three short, so far so good. The problem is that the three long wires are too long and one of the short wires is too short and had to be "misrouted" (and stretched) to barely reach the next connector. Stem guide clips do not fit motors. All cables eventually reach the spark plugs, so during operation they had to be routed too close…

Good quality. - Spark plugs and wires

Used on a 2004 Monte Carlo with a naturally aspirated 3800 Series II transverse V6 for tuning at approximately 135,000 miles. Due to the design of the engine in this car, you must remove the two "dog bone" brackets at the front of the engine and use a ratchet strap attached to the rear anchor and front cross member to pull the engine forward and hold to access the rear cylinder bank. INSURE THE WHEELS AND PLACE THE VEHICLE IN NEUTRAL. This will make the whole process MUCH easier. All of these…
