Works great. You need to 1. take out the old lock cylinder 2. take out the tumblers of the old cylinder and keep them in order (one by one, be very careful) 3. match the old tumblers to the new ones (the tumblers have the same number as the new cylinder ) 4. Install the new cylinders into the new cylinder in the same order that the old toggle switches were in the old cylinder. Pretty much it is. Bought for my 2006 GMC Sierra which was so worn out that you could remove the key with the engine running. The hardest part of the installation was removing the plastic steering wheel cover, Y0UTUBE helped with that. This part included all the parts needed to "code" the cylinder with my original key, which was easy to do. could do this repair successfully and save a lot of money! You can't beat OEM quality and functionality.

So I had to program a new key for this lock cylinder, but I didn't want to disassemble the cylinder that the key goes with. Here's what I did.
