Review on ACDelco D1469G Original Equipment Ignition by Aaron Romero

So I had to program a new key for this lock cylinder, but I didn't want to disassemble the cylinder that the key goes with. Here's what I did. I put the key in this lock and then put one of each type of mug in the first mug slot. There are 4 types of glasses. I pressed the key toggle switch (simulated a spring holding it) and checked that the small rectangular piece had pulled back (this piece needs to pull back flush to allow the cylinder to rotate). If it retracts flush with the body, this is the correct toggle switch. If when inserting the glass a piece sticks out and cannot be pushed in, then it is not the right glass. I did this with each slot until I finished all 9. I put it in my truck's ignition and it worked great.
