ACDelco FB59 Professional Crankcase Breather Review

Direct replacement for my '69 Firebird, not white but black. That was a problem because it took me a whole fleet of cars to show up.

Great price and direct OEM replacement. It wasn't clear if this item came with a real filter or not so I bought it separately. When this item arrived it turned out that it contained a filter, so the deal got even better!

Perfect fit. The only drawback and reason for four instead of five stars is the lack of a bracket to attach the filter. I made two small holes in it and was able to bend and reuse the old bracket. .If you must have braces, don't buy them, otherwise they're great. Made my engine smoother for five bucks 👍

Same part number but different dimensions. It's possible that later air cleaner housings are thinner, but I couldn't install the included retainer or my original clip. Then when I tried to install the crankcase hose, the hose was too loose. The diameter of the barb is smaller than the original. I ended up using a new filter media in my old housing. This turned out to be an expensive filter material.
