Works like original

A little tricky to install, pumps not the problem. The fuel gauge is very accurate and after 1000 miles my concerns about a pump failure at 150,000 miles have gone and it's nice to have a fuel gauge again.

Quiet and straight seat

Ordered this for my daughters 2005 Trailblazer. It was a direct fit and was quieter than the original. The only problem with your old one was the fuel delivery unit, but if you are replacing it on a 15 year old car you might as well replace the entire unit so you don't have to repeat the whole process again in the future.

good quality for fuel pumps and accessories

be sure to buy some extra fuel line clamps if you're doing this job --- it has nothing to do with fuel pump quality but be prepared This is one complex installation, and fuel line clamps break easily. The pump was fine and worked great, still working perfectly after 2 months and the fuel gauge is now reading correctly. I'm glad I went for a more expensive and better pump because I don't want to put another one in.

Cons

Fits Trailblazer 2005

I am pleased to report that after approximately 15,000 miles this pump is still working great. Throwing and changing a fuel tank is very difficult. But the cost savings of having someone else do the work is worth it. Remember to prime the fuel system after changing it by turning the ignition key about 10 times before starting the vehicle. I forgot that part when I changed mine and had a minor heart attack when it wouldn't start.

Cons
  • Useless Features
