You no longer need to keep them at home. It's so easy to order from Amazon. Use them on my GM 4.8 V8. Have used this "E" core filter for the last 60,000 miles. No problems so far, just remember to change the filters at the oil change intervals.

Well my Suburban 98 loves them but can't type on the keyboard. I love the brand and my Suburban has 301,000 on the odometer so they work well to keep dirt out of the oil. They're a little shorter than similar filters, but seem to work.

This is the recommended filter for the flex fuel version of the Chevy Tahoe. To counter the reviewer's claim that the metal components in the original PF46 filter are better, see AC Delco's product information sheet for why nylon was used instead (see attached image).

IT IS NOT HAPPY THAT THIS ITEM HAS BEEN REVISED BY AC DELCO, THIS IS A REPLACEMENT FOR THE AC DELCO PF46 OIL FILTER IN SMALLER QUALITY AND SIZE. CURRENTLY BUY ALL THE PF46 OIL FILTERS YOU CAN FIND. DON'T LIKE: SMALLER LENGTH, WEAK THREADED STEEL PLATE, SMALLER FILTER AREA FOR GM 6.0 ltr. and 4 cyl.

Good stuff in my opinion I've seen some people complain that they're not very good quality and I've taken it upon myself to buy a few , to find out for yourself Filter very resistant I wanted to crush it with my hands but could not. The filter looks like cardboard but is very resistant, know what you see on the sides, wanted to separate but could not and I will continue to buy them

So much hate for this filter for getting smaller. Look man, I've had my commuter 01 for almost 20 years now and the trend I'm noticing is that the oil filter is getting smaller. That's not new.
