ACDelco TCKWP312 Professional Timing Tensioner Review

This kit was fitted in a few weeks and there were no problems, my car started to run a little quieter. The mechanic reported no problems installing it on my 2003 Civic. Goodbye!

I've been with GM for a long time and I'm very familiar with the quality of ACDelco parts. I highly recommend them as a replacement for other makes of car OEM parts, especially when they are more than half the price like this water pump/timing belt kit.

This is a Gates product in a Delco air conditioner, gates water pump and belt. I was confused assuming it's the same part both companies use. ? However, the quality of the water pump is good, much better than the old one that failed. Comes with basic instructions. Everything installed perfectly on my 2003 Civic 1.7.

Belt, tensioner, spring and water pump seemed fine. The water pump seal was too large and could not be used. The photo shows the Delco AC kit gasket (above) compared to the original gasket (below). Although the shapes are similar, I was unable to fit the gasket into the new water pump's groove - there was probably 1-2 inches of excess gasket material around the perimeter.

Great kit that has it all! All parts are high quality but I let my mechanic install them. Much cheaper than going to the Honda dealer. They want TWICE for what I paid to install! So my suggestion is if you have the time do it yourself. If not, take the kit to a reputable mechanic and have them install it. Highly recommended.

Got this kit for my Honda Civic 2001 LX Coup no problem it fits but the documentation could be better how to do it install it. But the timing belt is ticking, water is flowing and the car is happy. Don't forget to put some grease on the water pump gasket to help it stick when installing it on the car. I didn't have them, so I used thermal grease on the processor. It worked fine.

Bought for a 2001 Civic LX and fits perfectly. Other brands tend to skimp on quality but not this one. What I liked most was their attention to detail - in 2003 my make of car had a slight change in engine production and this change is listed in the fitment manual along with a new bolt if I need it (I didn't need it). . ). Just shows the level of detail they provide. Easy to understand instructions and arrived quickly.
