Incorrect product description

Incorrect photos and product description. I bought them on purpose as they should be free of metal clips, but they aren't. I sent them back.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Everything OK

Incorrect description of the elastic bandages

These were not ACE bandages with a hook closure, but with a clip closure. The hook is like Velcro and the clip is made of small metal spikes with an elastic band between the two clips. The article has been marked as missed. Don't buy if you don't like being stuck with bards.

MY BROKEN FOOT JUST LOVED THESE CLEAR DURABLE STRETCH BANDAGES

Perfect width and length for a broken foot! A stretched ACE BANDAGE that is 4 inches long and about 15 feet will adequately enclose a fractured metatarsal! I broke four or five bones in my foot in three years! I become an expert!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Good overall but...

Slightly more expensive but worth it

This is a much better product than those elastic bandages that stick to themselves. This product stays in place and has good elasticity. It doesn't wrinkle like cheaper products and the velcro straps really stick, unlike sticky products that can be used once or twice.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Excellent purchase! - First Aid

I use them as a kind of compression bandage for my thighs. They've worked great so far. I really like velcro as I'm used to getting the ones with hooks that always seem to get lost or hit you, hurt you and come loose with every slightest movement. I'm very glad I bought them and I'm particularly pleased with the velcro closure. It works well, sticks well and is soft.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Good but not great

No metal clips! suitable for elastic bandages

As the only alternative to those inefficient metal clamps, these velcro ace bandages are very welcome. I've been using them for as long as this type of product has existed. With proper care, the elastic Ace bandage is quite durable. My only advice would be for beginners to be careful when removing the bandage, ie hold the stocking with one hand while you slowly pull the very strong velcro out of the stocking's fabric. Otherwise, the stocking can easily break by drilling a hole at the attachment

  • Everything is fine!

Absolutely love these Ace Velcro stretch wraps

I use Ace wraps to attach rectangular ice packs to one in my lap which I secure with safety pins. When I needed a replacement I noticed your Velcro brand and thought it might be worth a try. I was skeptical that velcro straps could hold ice packs due to their weight. When your ACE bandages arrived I tried them straight away and absolutely loved them. The Velcro closure provides a strong and tight seal, keeping chemical ice packs in place for hours without slipping. I couldn't be happier. Thankโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Performing well
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

ACE Elastic Wrap with 4 " Velcro - is it worth the price? Yes

I have had issues with support stockings cutting off blood flow to my toes and stocking ends cutting into my calves at the end of the day โ€“ I couldn't find the right strength that was comfortable for the whole leg and feet at the same time, my doctor suggested using elastic bandages instead - they proved better for several reasons: Tension can be adjusted as needed throughout the day and can be readjusted and is easier to put on and take off Why is the ACE product compared to other lessโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
