Acekit Converter Cigarette Compressor Refrigerator Review

The first came in several pieces and the screw holes were knocked out so I asked for a replacement that was the same shape as the first. Don't try again.

I bought this a few years ago. It once worked to power a portable tire inflator. When I next used it (2 years later!) it was dead. I opened the case and found that the resistor (R6) had burned out.

I use a converter to power my 12 volt electric oven to heat my dinner. The little Road Pro heater is rated at 144 watts and is the only converter I could find that produces that much power. I've been using it 5 days a week for the past month and it's working great. On cold days, I like to have a warm lunch.

Good product. It is possible to use this for other automatically powered devices as it uses the cigarette lighter socket for output. Has a higher output current, allowing most self-powered (12VDC) devices to run.

I wanted to find an alternative power supply adapter to the my solar cooker line. I hope this continues to work well. I don't feel I can raise my rating as I've only used it once. I had doubts as most of the labels on the packaging are not in English. However, I am pleased to see that what has been reported about Revain appears to be correct.

The product was delivered to me with a couple of broken off caps securing the screw tops. Also, the screws were very small with square heads. I don't have the tools to tighten them even if the lid fasteners weren't broken. A more classic type of screw would be better. The internal fan should be attached to the case and not loosely placed. There were four stars for the performance of the device. Let's hope it stays that way during the warranty period and beyond. I may re-evaluate in the future.
