**EDIT** My first XB323U GX was a bad panel. It had poor backlighting, behind-the-bezel lighting was patchy, and contrast was just plain bad. After 2 weeks I sent it back to Revain and ordered another one. This time I got a good panel. So this is my edited review. I hated ips panels mainly because of their terrible contrast ratios. I don't know why anyone would want good viewing angles for a PC monitor, it's right in front of you anyway. But then I got this. I have never seen an ips panel with such a good contrast ratio. I've always preferred VA panels but this one won me over, but will be hard to beat if I ever need to replace it. Colors are beautiful and vibrant, and contrast is better than any ips panel I've seen or tested.

Expected more from such an expensive monitor as the monitor has dead pixels and a faulty HDMI cable. Thanks for attention.

Worst backlight I've ever seen. And it turned out that 3 plates were in a row. You are not assembling this panel correctly. There are several sections on the underside of the panel that allow light to pass through. This is the worst I've ever seen and extremely disappointing for a $900 monitor.

This monitor is very good for what it brings to the table. 240Hz on PC is really nice and smooth. Rocket league and csgo look very clean. On PS5, running games with resolutions ranging from 4K to 1440p look very clean. Fifa, f1, the last of us. Everything looks very nice. The only thing I didn't really like was the brightness. Upgrade to XB3232U GX with Alienware AW2721D. Colors are more muted on the Acer panel, but the return to the large 31.5-inch screen is a delight. I can't stand curved screens so Samsung G7 with 31.5 inch VA panel wasn't an option, I'm glad I bought Acer.

Let me upfront by saying that I don't have any GPU or cable issues, I've tested multiple cables and GPUs (yes I have GPUs). Sometimes this monitor goes black for about 1 second before reconnecting to the network. It might happen once or twice a week, it's rare, but it's alarming. Very frustrating in games. Very good monitor, super clear, bright, great for gaming. All fonts are crisp and clear, great for any use, surfing, watching movies and top gaming. I've never seen anything like this in my games because of the incredible refresh rate and Nvidia G-Sync, just awesome. All my games are cool on this monitor, old and new, very satisfied. Nothing to say but this monitor is perfection. 32 inch, 1440p, overclocked 240-270 Hz and HDR 600. Colors are beautiful and images are crisp. The sound is pretty good for monitor speakers, but these are monitor speakers. Finally, it has a 1.4 display port, although the description says 1.2, just like the website. I can promise you it's 1.4 and you'll get your gaming experience at 240-270Hz. It's expensive but worth the money. Will buy again and definitely recommend.

This monitor suits me. On a PC with a modern graphics card, 240Hz is automatically detected and selected and the picture is fantastic. On a non-M1 MacBook Pro (2016 and 2019 models tried), using an HDMI cable with an HDMI-to-USBC adapter is horrible (60Hz max, weak). The best 1440p monitor you can buy. It's fast, bright, and virtually instantaneous. For those wondering, this is 10-bit color output so you can take advantage of the wider color space. Color accuracy is excellent, takes a while to get used to (my previous monitor was the LG 32gk650f-b) but I think the colors look balanced. the contrast isn't the best, for example in some scenes it's not pitch black.
