Acerbis Replacement Plastic Kit 2041080001 Review

Some modifications (plastic cut) had to be made on the rear fender. It was for the E model and I ordered for the S. Apart from that, it still got five stars for the quality and speed of delivery.

Perfect for my DRZ400S. What stopped me was that a lot of people have gotten compliments on my bike since they put it on. I do a lot of off roading through forests, sand and rocks so they're all scratched now but hold on like a champ!

Not perfect fit, paint quality not great but they are durable and cheap. Nothing to fault. For the SM model, you need to trim the rear fender closer to the center to fit the subframe, otherwise everything else will fit (close enough).

High quality plastic from Acerbis but easy to scratch but most of us would still use the stickers. I did not use the original front fender that came with the kit. The rear fender needs to be adjusted on my DRZ400SM. A small meat grinder coped with the task in a few minutes.

Very good price. My other bike is a BMW and you can't buy a valve stem cap for $100! I used a stepped attachment and a flap sander to make the necessary cuts. Just copy the clippings from your originals and take the time to adjust them properly and you'll be pleased with the results.

I will retract the review in full if Revane continues to downvote the post behind the guidelines. The plastic is good but on my drz400 I had to modify the back of the tail HARD and it was able to because the previous owner cut the last one so I had the template. It's not insanely hard to figure out, you can also check the U-tube. Almost every detail has been scratched, as many have mentioned.

Looks much better than white plastic with stickers. Installed them on a 2013 DRZSM with a rear DRZE subframe because I wanted to remove all the footpegs and brackets and also trim the rear fender. Otherwise, anyone with a DRZSM will have to do some trimming of the interior or rear fender to install it. The front fender doesn't look like the DRZSM, but it will fit. The panels fit all factory locations and scratch very easily. A very cheap mod to update the look of any DRZ.

Drz400cm. No, they do not come with a plug protector as shown in the listing - 1 star. Very misleading and frankly very frustrating. You will need to trim the rear fender completely to leave enough room for the taillight and brake light wiring. Better order a cheap Dremel equivalent if you don't have one. Plus, they're made out of nice plastic. But don't be surprised if they get scratched like hell like mine. I hope I can polish out the scratches, it's an SM after all and I have to keep up…
