I usually only use the #4 and #6 brushes for gel nails. While they clean up easily in acetone, they work well with gels, don't shed at all and don't lose the shape of the bristle head. The stippling tools, which I thought I'd never use because I'm not that creative, came in handy because I happen to be a creative person (lol, dots came with brushes anyway). Great price for a useful and durable brush set.

Very impressed with the range of tools in this set. So far I have used most of the brushes and have no complaints. They don't lose bristles and work as they should. I get good, great, detailed work, and it works exactly the way I want it to. I would expect to pay multiples more for the quality of these tools. I will buy a second set as a gift. They come with a plastic tag that cannot be put back on. It's useless.

I got this set to learn how to do my own hard gel nails. The brushes lost their shape after the second or third (deep) cleaning, but the spring tools are pretty good and should last a long time. This set has helped me figure out what brushes I like so I can invest in higher quality individual brushes rather than a set I don't care about.

I love making my own manicure and bought this because my brushes were bad and I really wanted a set of dotting tools. I've been taking good care of my nails for a few weeks now, but as far as I can tell they're good for what I need them for and the price was right. What I paid for this set I would only pay for 1 or 2 brushes from Sally so it's not a problem for me. Didn't notice the brushes dangling or falling out like in the previous post, but if they do I'll change my review.
