This coloring book is awesome! The pages are heavyweight card stock and there is a strong protective plastic sheet behind the page you are working on so it doesn't show through! The top and bottom of this book also have the same protective sheets which I have reassigned to use in all my 'standard thickness' coloring books and they are so convenient to use! (Just note that if you use it on your standard alcohol marker books, you must wipe the plastic sheet with rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab,

This book is incredibly beautiful. I'm in the UK and wanted this and Les's book so bad I paid a fortune to have it delivered lol. I can't recommend it more highly. The paper is amazingly thick, single-sided, and comes with a plastic insert that you can glue in place to protect the image below (I assume you're using alcohol-based markers). I use colored pencils so bleed through isn't a problem for me, but my only complaint is that the ink used to print rises when layering and/or using a feather…
