This coloring book is awesome! The pages are heavyweight card stock and there is a strong protective plastic sheet behind the page you are working on so it doesn't show through! The top and bottom of this book also have the same protective sheets which I have reassigned to use in all my 'standard thickness' coloring books and they are so convenient to use! (Just note that if you use it on your standard alcohol marker books, you must wipe the plastic sheet with rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab, or your next used page will get the transfer ink off the plastic sheet! Live and Learn. !) The drawings are beautiful and have different levels of difficulty - from very easy to very difficult!) Yes, they are much more expensive than other books, but they are really worth the investment!
