Easy to use and good quality

This clay dries very smoothly and takes acrylic paint well. I'm an aspiring sculptor and it was very easy for me to build. My only complaint is that it took 3 full days to fully dry, but I'm pretty sure that's normal for air drying clay.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Sad packaging

The best air dry clay. Period.

Probably the best clay I've ever worked with and the only clay I buy. It has a good fiber to clay ratio, and the clay itself is bleached and clean. Captures the details really well. The clay itself can be a little stiff, so take a good quality spray can and rub it into the clay until smooth. This material is fibrous, so bring very sharp cutting tools if you want clean edges.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Some flaws

Incredibly difficult to work with, tenacious and rock hard

I don't know what I'm doing wrong with this material but it is incredibly difficult and frustrating to work with, I wanted to pull my hair out. Very lumpy, quite hard first time but now the clay block is almost set to stone (although I sealed it) and a little water makes the job easier, just softens the surface itself but the rest underneath is very unyielding.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Some flaws

Bring a jug of water to your craft table

I was really hoping this was the clay I would use for my sculptures. It doesn't :(. The clay dries very quickly and needs constant water. After an hour and a half trying to sculpt a doll's face, my hands turned white from the baked clay. The edges don't match well unless you spend a lot of time joining the seams, this can be good for big projects but not enough for the details I need in smaller projects.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Disappear

Good airy dry clay

I'm looking for the perfect clay for hobby sculpting. This works very well. It has a high paper content so when dry it has a pretty good feel. He dries a lot. It can be easily smoothed out with a wet finger or a hair straightener. Lumps of clay have good adhesion, so they can be added to existing work. Easily washable with soap and water. The abstract is a good mix of clay, plaster and paper fibers. It is easy to work with, after drying it becomes smooth and hard with minimal shrinkage andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Great Clay!

After changing my preferred tonal formula I experimented with three different types and here is the result. Clay brick and stone is a clay brand. Dragon and Dragon is another brand. Still, this tone turned out to be remarkable. It is smooth and easy to use, easy to shape and will not shrink or crack. I only noticed 1 crack in the joint. It holds the details well, is not too sticky and has no odor. This is my new favorite tone, it's more expensive than I paid but worth the price. I will be using

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

I am very pleased with how easy this putty is to work with. I make designer dolls. I used to work with Apoxie Sculpting which is a great clay too but as I am new to sculpting and this clay starts to harden within an hour I definitely prefer puppet clay as it takes very little time to work with . really depends on you. no time limit. So for the first sculptor who still has time trial skills. I definitely prefer this tone. The results after curing are excellent. Hard but smooth (when sanded) andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to Use

  • Quick Start Guide
