2005 E55 AMG GPS Systems Accessory

Used in place of replacing the OEM GPS antenna. I just plugged it into the back of the GPS CD drive and threw it in the trunk. After 30 minutes drive I found 9 satellites. I put it under the tail bag in the trunk and it easily finds satellites through the rear window and shelf, nicely hidden.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Some Cons

Strong signal under the dashboard.

I bought this antenna to replace the flimsy glass antenna that came with my aftermarket radio on a F10 BMW 5 series. Plugs straight, same connector as OEM. I had such a strong signal that I was able to install it under the dash for a hidden install. Couldn't be happier after a few weeks of testing.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • I will be silent

Works with my Sync 3 conversion

I have a 2014 Focus ST that I did a Sync 2 to Sync 3 conversion on. The Sync 3 system is not compatible with the old GPS antenna in the car, so I bought this one. It works great even hidden in the dashboard. One star deducted because it couldn't be installed. A tiny strip of double sided tape would have sealed the deal for five stars.

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Negative gift

What you see is not what you will get.

Antenna connector not received as shown. This is a metal slider on the connector (compression) that is not snapped or keyed as shown in the picture, just like the factory Fakra antenna connector. Shame on Xtenzi for hate speech and advertising substitutes. I paid more for less. Upgraded to 4 stars as the antenna was kept on the back of the unit and picked up the satellite signal instantly every time.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Repaired my VW's GPS with it.

Easy repair of the factory GPS antenna that is no longer working on my 2009 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen with factory navigation RNS-510. Installation requires removing the radio (easy instructions online), unplugging the blue factory GPS antenna connector, plugging it in and finding a place to attach the antenna. I was able to route the cable for the new antenna to mount under the mesh "air vent" at the top of the dash. Significantly cheaper than a new VW antenna.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Fits

Fixed my Audi A6, fits antennas

Works great. Sharkfin GPS antenna failed in my A6 (common problem). This inexpensive alternative solved the problem. The hardest part was getting to the back of the GPS module in the trunk to unplug the old antenna. I removed the entire rack from the mounting screws, tilted it forward and voila. Plug in a new one, run only as much cable as you need to route to the rear window shelf, tie up the excess cable and tuck it back into the GPS bay. The problem is solved, the maps are displayed again…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Clarity

Perfect fit for Audi RSN-E

Perfect fit for Audi RSN-E! Vagcom diagnosed an antenna problem so I bought one to replace my existing aftermarket antenna. When I went to install it, I found that the old one's cable was broken. At that moment, the woman remembered moving it. Exposure to sunlight made the cable very fragile. To postpone the replacement until a later date, I explained the problem to the waifu and wrapped the exposed cable in foil. This did not affect the once again first-class satellite reception. The cable is…

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Quality
