Nice big aquarium bag!

I wanted an extra thin mesh bag and this product was perfect! I will use it for Purigen or any other medium in my tank knowing that whatever I put in it stays in the bag and won't spill. It also looks sturdy and well made.

Pros
  • Aquarium Pumps and Filters
Cons
  • No Power

The smart way to hold filter media!

As I have several tanks, I quickly got tired of paying for cartridge refills. I tried various recommended methods (sewing cotton wool, tights), but these bags, combined with foam rubber, turned out to be the best. I use them in my 2 Marineland filters and 1 potfin. When I've used up the Whisper biopacks, they go there too.

Pros
  • Fish and aquatic animals
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Perfect fill bag for aquarium filter baskets

Fills the basket space in my canister filter (Penn Plax Cascade700). This is important as the water is being pushed through the media - some bags just can't handle it. We mostly have a combination of activated carbon and phosphate reduction. Holds the wearer in place - has a different "pattern" than standard nylon bags which seems to encourage flow.

Pros
  • Filter Accessory
Cons
  • Problem
