Excellent sensor, suitable for temperature sensors

Fantastic sensor, works great even after messing up the soldering. Easy setup, tiny size, no fake I2C craze (cough AM2315), high sampling rate, excellent reproducibility, well documented.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

tiny, easy to use, very delicate.

Looks very accurate. The Adafruit libraries are very easy to edit in Python. It's sensitive enough to detect the change in humidity in my master bedroom across the room after my morning shower.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Plenty

Unusable without specified accuracy

I wanted to like it. The integration with Mycodo was easy and gives consistent results. But I don't use it unless it's accurate enough. The temperature is always high and the humidity low. It currently reads 33.2 degrees Celsius in a room where other thermometers put it at around 25 degrees Celsius.

Pros
  • Testing, measuring and checking
Cons
  • No performance

WOW. Much better than DHT11!

Wow. For the past year I've been recording temperature and humidity using an Arduino with a DHT11 breakthrough. The DHT11's humidity seemed wrong from the start, and it's not very sensitive to known changes. I switched to this SHT31-D and now feel like I wasted a year of registration time. The readings for temperature and humidity are significantly more accurate. Humidity seems perfect and response time is fast (breathe and watch). I also love I2C. If you're thinking of temperature and humidity

Pros
  • temperature sensors and sensors
Cons
  • I'll write later
