This material is not as easy to process as we would like. Therefore, the thread can break and stretch more than standard thread. But it conducts best and makes the most reliable shifts for anything I've used with wired shifts.

The thread is not as thin as we would like. I tried sewing a pattern onto the fingers of some of the gloves I had but it looked like I was working with very thin string, it wouldn't even tie when I tried to make a simple cross. Perhaps this item has a more convenient use, but unfortunately not for the manufacture of conductive gloves.

I love this thing! I've used it to sew some anti-static wristbands because I suffer from severe static shock in dry weather. I've threaded it through the cuff of my leotard a few times, leaving dangling ends where I tied knots. It works! I'm very happy because I've had this problem for ages and now I've finally found a solution. I can even pet my dog in the middle of winter without killing him anymore!

VERY strong but flexible thread. Difficult to cut with scissors but seems to work on a sewing machine. I don't think it will scratch the phone screen. But the color is NOT silver. It's more of a dark gray metallic, similar to the finish on some "stainless steel" fridges, which aren't actually stainless steel, but some other material that doesn't leave fingerprints. I have 0 sewing skills but I had no problem taking a needle and wrapping this thread around the fingertips of my motorcycle leather gloves. Now I can use my phone without taking off my gloves.
