I bought this for my late 2015 iMac 27in 5k in 2018 to upgrade from 8GB to 24GB. This memory failed after 2 years. My iMac started beeping 3 times. After removing this memory it worked again. I went back to my original 8GB. *Update* Adamanta got in touch and agreed to replace the memory chip. I sent them the defective memory and they sent me a replacement. I upgraded them from 1 to 4 stars for excellent customer service.

I made sure I bought the right memory. I have verified that this is correct according to Apple and the website. I upgraded from 2 x 4 megabytes to 4 x 8 megabytes (from 8 megabytes to 32 megabytes). After installation, I had to restart my computer twice before it would boot up. The computer worked fine for a while (about two months) before it started shutting down constantly. The only thing that confuses when installing this memory is which of the slots to install pairs in. Instructions for installing memory banks are included with the memory. If you open an Apple iMac you will see DIMMs in slots 1 and 3. Based on the customer pictures uploaded to Revain it seems most people add their new DIMMs in slots 2 and 4.
