I bought my bike trailer and attached it to my bike at the time. I lost the inserts over time so when I bought a new bike with a different seatpost I could no longer use my bike with a trailer. I was delighted to find this inexpensive replacement which got me back in business. I use a different hitch on my wife's bike so it's now easy to transfer a trailer bike to one of our bikes.

It took a lot of fitting. It worked, but with a lot of adjustments. There were a lot of innings that kind of let the bike fall through and made my daughter nervous and more difficult to ride. There should be some kind of rubber coating or grips to make it easier to slide from side to side. My husband somehow managed to rock the bike a little less. I think the price was a little high. But we were desperate for family bike rides.

I purchased this product after purchasing a $30 hookless trail bike on Criagslist. I have two bikes now and have swapped this hitch from one to the other after the initial install. Multiple seatpost sleeves allowed me to select the right one for each bike, and installation was quick (less than 10 minutes). After that it was pretty easy to connect the hitch and off we went. The hitch is solidly built and I can't imagine having to replace it unless my bike gets stolen.
