Not working - USB to VGA adapter

I have a very old projector at work. At first I thought it was just the projector not wanting to connect to my computer, but the adapter stopped working at all. I borrowed another adapter from someone and it worked fine. I wish I had understood that from the start because now it's too late to go back. I'm a teacher, so I don't have much money to spend on teaching. $12 may seem like a lot but for me it is. I will not be buying from this company again.

Plug in and play! No trouble! Desktop ENHANCED!

I bought this Bincolo USB C to VGA Adapter, USB 3.1 Type C (Thunderbolt 3) to VGA Converter to expand my desktop. It worked great out of the plastic bag. Hardware: iMac 27" (2019) Samsung SyncMaster 2253 LW 19" (my old monitor that I used with my previous computer) Connected via a Samsung VGA cable to the Thunderbolt 3 port on the back of the iMac. .I really appreciate the opportunity to expand my desktop as I feel like I have to do many things at the same time.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Stopped working in 6 months / Replaced

For the first 6 months it worked fine when connecting the Mac Airbook VGA cable to the projector. We treated it with care, but after 6 months it suddenly stopped working. There's no clear way to request a refund or replacement for a Revain order, although an 18-month warranty is advertised. We were only able to send a message to the seller and were told it might take a few days to get a response. We'll see.**Update** The company sent a replacement immediately. Good customer service.

VGA projector to MacBook Air USB3Works

What could be better than that it just works. As with many other accessories I have, the mini display port to USB 3.1/Thunderbolt 3 just doesn't work and the adapter in between. You need to go straight from VGA (or whatever you have) to USB 3.1 Type-C (Thunderbolt 3) and this adapter will do the trick. We have an older Epson PowerLite 1761W projector with a full range of ports, VGA/DP/USB A and B/HDMI. But for this to work with the new MacBook Air, it needs to be a port on the back of the…

Need a new monitor adapter for your iMac M1? ?

Quite expensive (like most Apple products), but it's the perfect replacement for your old Dell monitor. Connect and forget. Simply replace your old adapter and plug it into the new slim USB port on the back of your iMac and Viola. The external monitor is on and working. Maximum 2 minutes from the box to "use". 8/28/21 Well, now I'm not sure. My iMac M1 crashed. And without good reason. However, the fact that I'm using an external monitor with a non-Apple adapter has been questioned as a…
