Volume issues with optional input adapters

Does the job pretty cheap. It is installed on my acura mdx 2008. I expected it to interfere with my CD input but was pleasantly surprised when it worked with the secondary input. won't work again until I restart my phone. Not sure if this is related to my phone (I doubt it) or the adapter. That's the most annoying.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Not the best

Works great with Bluetooth adapter on 06 Odyssey

My 2006 Honda Odyssey EX-L does not have an AUX input but there is an XM/AUX button on the radio. I also didn't want Bluetooth to have to deal with wires so I bought this adapter which is USB powered and has an AUX input. I connected the AUX adapter to the back of the radio and then connected the other end to the bluetooth adapter, hiding all the wires behind the climate control panel. Followed the video on YouTube. No drilling needed and everything works great.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Non Automatic

AUX adapter for CD input Honda

I bought this for my Honda Goldwing GL1800. The 1800 has the option to install a CD player, but I don't. This adapter plugs into the CD input jack under the seat. I then routed the wires to a place where they could be connected to my XM radio. (My GPS uses the AUX input on the 1800 radio) Works great! Good volume control. The USB plug supplies 5V and is "hot" all the time, so if you plug something into it, it stays on, even if you turn off the ignition. I would recommend putting a freezer bag…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Security

Doesn't match the price tag.

This plug and play app is great but be careful you have to disassemble the panels, unclip the clips without damaging them and unscrew the radio from the bracket to access the to be obtained at the back where the plug is located. The sound quality is my biggest issue with this device. The extra cord crackled, crackled, and squeaked when I first plugged it in. I actually had to take the auxiliary cable connector apart and solder a new end on, and even then I still had to smear it with a thin…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • poorly thought out

It will ruin your car. AVOID!

!AVOID! THIS WILL DIG YOUR CAR Shortly after installation, my car started having electrical problems. IDE Honda thought it might be the sensors in the exhaust system. Also, within the year that I installed it, the alternator blew up, the battery died, and the check engine light went on and off randomly. The fuel was not properly regulated and the saturation levels were not consistent. There was a mysterious problem in the electrical system that no one could pinpoint. It cost me a significant…

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.
