MAC Users - Please Read.

Although this item is listed as "HDMI Converter for MacBook/MacBook Pro", be aware that you can only use 1 separate independent monitor per port on a Thunderbolt 3 MAC can operate . Two monitors work on such a splitter, but they are only mirrored. So if you want to have 2 additional independent monitors from your laptop monitor, the ONLY way to achieve this is to buy 2 USB-C to HDMI adapters and then connect 2 HDMI cables, one to each monitor . Great adapter but no mix of sizes

Bought this for my new 4k monitor and it works very well with one display at a time. I don't have two 4k displays, so I can't test if it works (like it says) with this setup. What it doesn't do on Windows is mix 4k and 1080p monitors. Both output in 1080p (it downsizes a 4k monitor). With a second USB adapter, I was able to output data to different screens at the same time. Works on Lenovo T580!

I don't know what those other pranksters are talking about but this kid is AWESOME. I needed it for work, no problems with it so far. It might only last a week or so, but everything is working fine so far. It's a bit cool when bast shoes walk at night, but still. It's $30 so what do you expect. Nice choice! suitable for USB to VGA adapter

Works exactly as I hoped. It took a few minutes to adjust my monitor settings, but once I did it worked just like my dock at work. I use a Dell Latitude 5490 laptop and as soon as I plugged in the USB-C port the monitors came alive. I chose this device over the docking station primarily because of the cost. I didn't really need a full-fledged home-work docking station, I just wanted my monitors to work the same as they do in the office. I recommend it to anyone who needs it.
