A handy way to tidy up my desk

I chose this set to get rid of the clutter of USB-C cables on my desk. Now my cables are neatly aligned and I've freed up space on my desk as I no longer need to move my laptop away from the edge of an upright desk. Then I used the latest cable with my Motorola Moto-X4. phone so I no longer have to worry about twisting the charging cable that plugs into the bottom of the phone.

Compact and Structured Handle

Extra small adapter, type C, switchable, left or right. The security of the connection is not bad and lands on devices with a proprietary "clickโ€. The same goes for the female end, reliable and comfortable. The texture on the plastic bezel makes it easy to remove the adapter even when the connection is secure. I use them to prevent damage to the cable when my kids are sitting on the couch charging their Nintendo Switch Lite consoles which have the charging port on the bottom which causes theโ€ฆ

WILL NOT FIT ALL DEVICES WITH CASE

The quality of the adapters is solid and high quality. I bought these to reduce stress and damage to quality cables. However, I can't give them more than two stars. The reason is simple. All our devices are robust; from phones to tablets. Some devices connect to cases; others not. The height of the plug is about ยผ inch for connection to the socket of the device. Change the theme. Until then, these are "narrow" strips of heavy-duty tape to provide some strain relief. I ONLY WISH A NEW AMAZONโ€ฆ

Poor fit and quality

When attempting to connect cables to one of the three adapters I received, the connector could not be fully inserted into the adapter. I tried different cables and they all had the same problem. Two of the three adapters seemed a bit wobbly. This means the adapter will rock back and forth when connected to the cable. One of the three made a cracking noise when I connected the cable to it. Needless to say, I didn't use any of the three adapters as loose fitting adapters contribute to deviceโ€ฆ

Something you didn't know you needed, but once you got it you'll be glad you got it.

I had two specific uses for these adapters: 1. I have several laptops for work and both have overgrown cables. To maximize space and keep things organized, I used these adapters to route cables to the back of the machines.2. I have a USB-C keyboard and wanted to route the cable to maximize keyboard tray space. This adapter allowed me to position the connector close to the keyboard itself.
