Dongle saved the day!

I had an old computer with no Wi-Fi and was completely satisfied with the product's features and ease of installation. Lightning-fast setup, lightning-fast operation. I certainly would, but it's again, and at $10 - pretty hard to refuse.

This product is great for bypassing my laptop's outdated network card. This device breathed new life into a seemingly useless laptop.

No claim for speed.

Not the speed they claim. Maximum 250 mb/s incoming and 300 mb/s incoming. I'm using a fiber optic connection (1 Gbps down / 1 Gbps down) and of course I'm connected at 5 GHz. The router is 2 feet away from me (ASUS AC 5300).

simple Wi-Fi solution, the best among USB network adapters

The Wi-Fi on my current laptop does not support fiber, resulting in no 2G or 5G network at all recognizes. This little device will easily fix me once and for all. Works well with a strong connection anywhere in the house.

Very good range when running under Windows 10 Installation error under Linux

I actually found 2 additional WLAN signals that were not in my house when it was installed. It worked without problems on Windows, but with the drivers it won't compile on Linux, fatal compilation errors on 4 attempts. Gave it up, but if it worked with the Realtek 8812 drivers available on Linux it would be used.

Doesn't work on Linux with CD enabled

Doesn't work on Linux. Driver error on CD. Update: I finally managed to get it working, but not with what was on the CD. II works as expected. One star deducted for useless linux instructions and drivers and one star deducted for not having a website to link to.
