This will power your phone and allow you to transfer data at the same time.

I like that it's easy to use and extremely reliable. It connected right out of the box. I use it to speak into my Motorola RAZR 2019 model through my confident sm7b microphone which is very compatible with my phone, I use it to make videos. Maybe later I'll make a demo video on my Z-money productions YouTube channel. Such a great product, I actually bought two fearing they might no longer be available or the price would go up significantly. I didn't sleep in it, neither should you.

Works well with Apple MacBook Pro 2017

The USB-C adapter, which is also a splitter that splits a USB-C connection into a USB-C connection and a USB-A connection, came fast on. It looks like the photos posted by the seller and works well with the Apple MacBook Pro 2017. I'm using the USB-C port to power a MacBook Pro from a 60W AC adapter. I'm using a USB-A port with a Logitech Unifying receiver (for a Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard). It works well with a 2017 13-inch MacBook Pro, two Thunderbolt 3 ports (e.g. USB-C), 16 GB RAM

Partially functional.

I use this to connect my Fiio DAC-AMP to a Galaxy phone and it works very well but only when the phone is also connected to power. The adapter does not power my amp when connected only to my phone. I'm sure it will work without a power connection if you just want to connect a flash drive for reading, but I have an adapter that won't charge when connected to OTG and I was sad not to keep that independence with this product. Also, the USB-A port doesn't get power until the USB-C pass-through port

Great complement for Chromecast with Google TV

Due to the limited storage space that Google allocates for Chromecast with Google TV, I had to increase the storage capacity. I didn't need a full hub, I wanted a thin device, and since I didn't want to run a cable for power, I needed a low-power solution. This adapter fits. Slim and can be powered by a Google TV battery with a Chromecast device and a Samsung FIT Plus USB 3.1 flash drive inserted using the Mission USB Power Cable for Chromecast, charging through my TV's USB port. This meansโ€ฆ

Works with Chromecast with Google TV!

I purchased this item to use with Chromecast with a Google TV dongle for easy storage. I use it with a SanDisk Ultra Fit 128GB USB 3.1 flash drive. It is excellent for this purpose and its color matches CCwGTV in Snow. It's also very light, so it doesn't put too much strain on the Chromecast's HDMI cable. There aren't many USB-C OTG cables to choose from other than big, heavy multi-port "port extenders" (I tried using one of those port extenders I had lying around and got a warning fromโ€ฆ
