Well made and makes a nice imprint when used with proper sealing wax.

If you like to write with a fountain pen, brass seals like this make nice accessories. You can use any pens; I just like fountain pens for extra nostalgia. Wax seals (ie J Herbin) help to add an extra flair to your letters. Our grandchildren like to collect and save our seals. One caveat however, depending on the size of the letter/card you use. The extra weight can cause you to have to use extra postage. I have found this to be true for some of the nice cards. This is well made and the brass…
