Added to a gallon of Sherwin Williams Veranda Enamel Color. for the 2nd coat. The surface feels safe without being "gritty". Great product in a good 1 gallon size.

You really need to mix this stuff with sealer (take your time) and when it dries it has a very slight sheen that doesn't look bad at all. It's best if you apply it and the sealer with a roller as the sprayer I tried to use had a tendency to clog.

Used on painted wood stair treads. Mix with Varathane (Rust-Oleum) Triple Thick Polyurethane Satin Finish and apply as directed. You can definitely feel the roughness he's added, but I can hardly tell a difference. Ideal as a slip protection when climbing stairs with socks.

I was quite skeptical when I opened the bottle and saw a very fine white powder. It looks like powdered sugar. I mixed it into the paint and to my surprise there was an amazing amount of dripping as it dried! It's not a super rough surface, but there is decent traction.

This additive is easy to work into the finish and provides even coverage (no clumps or bare spots) on the patio. I had a sealed patio that didn't have these types of additives and the slightest amount of moisture like morning dew would make the surface slippery. I wanted to add this to the sealing process to avoid the same situation and it worked! Worth the price.

I mixed this with a satin gloss to cover a set of stair treads. The wood finish was exactly what I was looking for, rough as sand on a beach. Possibly like cat tongue. I used a higher mix ratio than recommended as these stairs tend to get wet in winter. Mixing/applying was easy. The only unresolved issue concerns the lifespan of the product. But great results so far.

This product was recommended by the company I purchased the acrylic sealer from for my decorative concrete pool and pavement finishes. It was very easy to use and I am very happy with the results. I was concerned about how it would feel barefoot, but that's okay. It looks and feels great too. Now my pool looks new and I don't have to worry about slipping when it's wet. I'm so proud of myself for doing this work myself and saving some money.
