Type of review

About half the size of my original motion sensor on my ADT Alarm (the old one should be at least 8 years old) but works much better. He picked me up at the end of the corridor as I tried to sneak from one room to the other. The old sensor didn't do that. The wiring was a bit tricky because they labeled the wires differently than my old sensor, but with enough google searching. I got that. Works great and looks great.

Pros
  • Nice package
Cons
  • Can't remember

Works great so far.

I bought this sensor to replace my old motion sensor which gave false positives on two of our cats. I put this sensor in the same place as the old one. Another cable connection was required, which took several minutes to unravel. The instructions that came with it weren't very helpful. +, - and a loop (2 wires) are required to trigger the alarm. My old sensor only needed +, - and a wire to trigger the alarm. Luckily for me, the original installer used a 4-wire cable, so I only had to connect…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Dear

Didn't work for me

I was very disappointed with this device, especially after reading so many positive reviews. First, it's pretty cheaply made. You have to use a small screwdriver and almost break the top of the cover to remove the front cover. In addition, to configure the parameters, the plastic bridges on the circuit board must be removed. Both imply fairly cheap build quality. If you ignore these minor complaints, the device simply will not work! My wife and I drove right past it and the red light won't come

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive
