I'm 85 and my shower rods keep falling off, my son objected, the plumber said just get a new one but this new one! Revane saved me, I'm not kidding. I measured where the sticks should go, peeled off the paper, put them back in place and stood on the tub to set the stick in place. That's all. Job well done and no more crashes/bugs since. My fiance and I recently moved to a new place. We had trouble keeping our shower rod in place for weeks. We tried all the alternatives but I knew there had to be a product like this for our bathroom. I have one of those extremely cheap telescopic rods with little rubber caps on the ends. The caps are 1.5" in diameter, which I think is typical, and they fit snugly with the 'small' sized holders. The adhesive backing seems very strong and is currently sticking very well to my slightly textured shower walls. Compressible foam, you can easily pull the bar in, which increases tension and helps it stay in place even better. It's for now but I'll update the review if it ever happens.

No matter what I did, I couldn't find the curtain rod I bought when we moved out to stay awake. It's just two tips you put on either end of these almost useless shower curtain rods that will NEVER stay in place. I figured the only way I would ever get it to stay in place was to drill and drive screws through the tile. But these rod holders work great. In no case can the rod fall out.
