There's no reason to call these sneakers skateboarding. The size is too small, the front of the shoe presses on the instep. The shoe has no padding and no cushioning. I wore them all day and they didn't break. Revain also sent me used shoes - the laces on one shoe were replaced so someone else had the same thing. Ironically, although the heel is generally too narrow and abrasive, it slips despite all the lace holes. The included laces are long enough to tie a bow with difficulty.

My son has quite a wide foot so maybe that's why they fit oddly but they were loose in the heel and tight in the front. I previously bought a smaller size and the heel slipped off. Good shoes though. You are canvas. I wasn't aware of that when I bought it.
