Matches the 775 layout great, but the threaded holes are too small for my HP heatsink/fan (HP part number 577795-001). Doesn't show the size it needs so I thought it was the standard. Obviously not. I can turn the screws about 1 turn before it stops. Otherwise it would work fine. Will return.
This product literally saved my ass. What started out as a simple cooler swap on a Dell Studio 435t ended up in a completely different case. The Dell mounting bracket is not standard; The screws on the Nocturna cooler I bought didn't tighten properly and luckily this product was on sale. If it weren't for the missing adhesive on the bracket, I would have easily given it 5 stars.
It's all as pictured, a backplate that seems to fit Manny's proper motherboards. The only problem is that it does NOT come with screws, bolts or anything and you will have to find a fixing solution yourself. You will need M3 screws with a .50 pitch that are about half an inch long. You will also need shims to supplement and rubber braces to counteract vibration. What, as they say.
