piss off! for underpants

I bought two of these in September, towards the end of our cycling season. My husband attempted to install it today and the bracket isn't big enough for our 1 1/4" seatposts. The return period has expired and I have no way of contacting the seller.

Pros
  • New

Arrived scratched but in good condition

Product arrived with dents and scratches but looks decent overall. Slightly soiled welding work is visible. The screws used to adjust the distance between the rack and the bike seat took a lot of trouble to adjust, but the installation process is simple.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Minor issues

Poor posture.

Two issues: 1. Seat slide clamp (using the rubber tabs provided) to allow the entire brace to move sideways2. The two small screws that attach the bar to the support bar have slipped off the bar and one has had its threads stripped. Since this is the only design that will work on a bike with rear suspension, I would have to drill holes in both the seatpost and support post to stabilize them, otherwise I would throw everything away and buy a competitor's product.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Drill kit

Does not fit saddlebags

Yes. I get it, it seems obvious BUT. I have a folding bike and it has a special purpose and I wanted the cargo box to be removable. I bought a bag of foldable saddlebags which were perfect (I don't always need them) but when I needed them. They didn't work because there are no spacers or ribs to keep your saddlebag from hitting the tires, but for your very careful balance. It would be nice if I could find a detachable one or if it had folding mounts.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far

Multiple Sports Issues

What I like is that it was cheap and I don't need it for long. It has two deep scratches where the bolts on the slider gouge the bar. The welds are not very well done. If you are looking for beauty, this is not it. Hope the brackets hold. I won't carry much. It barely fit on the seat tube of my folding bike. As others have noted, it's not very long, but I was able to fit a decent pocket on it for tools and hoses. About three inches of the pocket extends past the rear end. The slider allows you…

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Very short extension pole

I extended this pole all the way and it was too short. The extension is still under the seat when fully extended. I compared it to a Schwinn rack I had and the extension tube portion (slider) was over 3 inches shorter on a similar rack. I ended up discarding the shelf as unusable for my purpose. Electric bike battery inside. I didn't expect the pole to be so short. I understand why they make it so short (the weight rests on the seat tube), but I add stays to support the weight and minimize…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
